Zev Crystal

Chief Executive Officer

As co-founder of Investment & Portfolio Consultants Limited (IPC) and CleanTech Energies Limited (CTE), both incorporated in 1995, Zev and his brother David Crystal each bring over 35 years’ experience in trading, asset management and investment banking to SE’s executive management, as well as more than a decade in the Renewable Energy Sector.

Their family-owned company was the visionary 50% founding shareholder in 2006 of Sunray Renewable Energy that went on to become one of Europe’s largest independent solar developers, installing 165MW of solar power, with over 200MW in development at the time of sale to SunPower San Francisco in 2010.

Philip Holdom

Chief Technology Officer

Philip Holdom has been active in the Renewable Energy Business for 27 years. As a pioneering proponent of Renewable Energy, Mr. Holdom has lectured and advised extensively in the United States and the Bahamas. APS was one of the first businesses to open its doors in Detroit’s innovative Next Energy Center. APS installed the first commercial wind turbine at an Electrical Training Center and developed and taught a training curriculum for electricians in the new field of renewable energy. APS was equally a pioneer in integrating small wind turbines to grid tie inverters and developed a renewable energy power system for highway billboards.

In the Bahamas, APS was the first Bahamian company to install 1 MW of PV and Battery Storage and continues to lead the country in installed PV and Battery capacity.

APS pioneered the design and integration of large residential PV and Battery systems in the Bahamas and was the first company to take homes over 5000 sq. ft. off-grid with over 10 tons of central air conditioning. Due to its innovative system designs and installed capacity, APS was awarded Outback Powers “Integrator of the Year Award” for the Caribbean. APS has been a Renewable Energy Advisor to the Government of the Bahamas for the past 9 years and is an Authorised Renewable Installer of the GOB IDB solar systems.

Bryan Glinton

Chief Financial Officer

Bryan is a founding partner and former managing partner of the law firm of Glinton Sweeting O’Brien and serves as the Chair of the firm’s Private Client Group.  He holds a degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Miami and a Masters in Business Administration from Drake University. In addition to a distinguished legal career that spans 24 years, his specialisations include investment funds, securities, banking, private wealth management and structured financial products. He is licensed to practice law in The Bahamas and the US States of Florida and Iowa and holds a financial and corporate service provider’s license. Bryan currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lyford Cay International School.

David Crystal

Gord Petroski

VP Alpha Energy

Gord Petroski is a passionate RE professional with more than 30 years of experience in Solar and Renewable Energy for bothOn Grid and Off Grid as an installer, system designer,product manager and business development. He has a thorough understanding of the RE business from designing small solar power systems through to complex micro grids with advanced energy storage solutions.

He is currently employed by Alpha Technologies as the VP Energy and Industrial Market Development with a focus on Strategic Planning for solar industry leader Outback Power (a company owned by Alpha Technologies). He is deeply involved in setting the global product strategy into advanced RE solutions including inverters and charge controllers and has worked on every continent helping customers achieve their goals.

Julien Jeannet

Structuring Advisor

Julien has reviewed over 35 power project opportunities in the last 3 years across diverse solar, wind, gas, hydro and coal technologies in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). He has extensive experience in the structuring, evaluation, analysis and building of financial models for project and investment portfolios.

He has most recently worked as investment manager at Impala Energy on a 45MW solar PV project in Kenya, invested in commercial and industrial solar projects in Rwanda and Uganda, a gas virtual pipeline business in Nigeria, an FSRU project in Ghana, an LNG-to- gas tender in Kenya, the debt-restructuring of a 125MW coal project in Senegal, a 35MW geothermal project in Kenya and a 72MW wind farm in Namibia, reviewed a 60MW solar PV project in Chad, a 150MW wind project in Senegal and 50MW wind project in Ghana, a 100MW wind project in Kenya, a 20MW solar PV project in Burkina Faso, a 40MW hydro project in Ivory Coast and a 300MW gas project in Nigeria.

As an associate at SunPower Corporation, a developer of utility scale solar projects and a manufacturer of high‐efficiency solar modules and tracking systems, Julien was responsible for the analysis and execution of the debt funding and the post-construction equity sale of solar power projects.

Prior to SunPower, Julien worked as a senior consultant at Operis, a London‐based project finance advisory company, performing financial model audits for over 50 transactions and building several financial models for third parties in the renewable industry. He also worked as a financial and planning analyst at the reinsurance arm of General Electric (now part of Swiss Re).

Len Watson

Analyst

Len joined Investment & Portfolio Consultants (IPC) in 1996 as a portfolio manager. With over 31 years of trading and investment banking experience, Len has managed global portfolios in Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives. In 2006, Len took on a role Renewable Technology Researcher at CleanTech Energies Limited (CTE). Len has travelled globally, meeting both public and private companies, assessing various sectors of renewable technology in Solar, Wind, Battery, Inverters, Grid, Biomass Energy Generation, Waste Management and Water Desalination. His wealth of knowledge continues to be invaluable within CTE as an advisor and at IPC as an investor.
